Never too late to add a "safe room" or storm cellar, Jon. ;)acrackedbathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05056658025780679689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-64631127202160433782020-12-04T05:16:53.153-08:002020-12-04T05:16:53.153-08:00I hope so! I just hate being cold too much to ever like anything that's associated with it. After earlier this year, I can certainly understand the want to live in an area that isn't prone to tornados, I know that I'm definitely a little more angsty about them then I had been. There's really nowhere in U.S. that's immune to natural disasters though, you basically just have to find an area who's potential disasters won't keep you up at night, which of course varies by person.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043468725408104535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-41444382805643118102020-12-02T17:47:15.562-08:002020-12-02T17:47:15.562-08:00I like the Smith red theme! You can have a lot of ...I like the Smith red theme! You can have a lot of fun with that one. So many freaking parallels out there. As for the snow - I hated it my whole life. Six inch snows once a year in OKC were too much for me. I spent 15 years in Texas with an annual ice storm to deal with but rarely any snow. In both places, I dealt with tornado season. I moved to MI 5 years ago and thought I'd never make it thru the first winter. The 2nd winter was slightly easier. Now, I've made peace with the snow. Somewhere along the way, I realized the odds of facing another F-5 in my lifetime were now almost nil as are the risks of earthquakes, avalanches, devastating fire seasons, tsunamis and hurricanes. I'd rather have eight inches of snow than live in fear of Mother Nature's temper. There was a tornado warning for my area this summer, sirens going off. A few trees were lost just a mile or so from me but I never felt the fear I did in OKC 1999. I find much humor in the fact that I live in a colder climate with bigger snows after railing against it most of my life. They don't call me 'cracked' for nothing!acrackedbathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05056658025780679689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-73388415440684867542020-12-02T16:18:27.186-08:002020-12-02T16:18:27.186-08:00Who knows, maybe you'll be spared this year, s...Who knows, maybe you'll be spared this year, stranger things have happened!Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043468725408104535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-7350317402863352492020-12-02T16:17:42.146-08:002020-12-02T16:17:42.146-08:00Thank you!Thank you!Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043468725408104535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-33817172618594112282020-12-02T16:17:27.932-08:002020-12-02T16:17:27.932-08:00Yeah, now that I got this one, another will probab...Yeah, now that I got this one, another will probably show up on eBay next week and sell for like five bucks.

Sounds like you were cured to me :)Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043468725408104535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-81353808796893769202020-12-02T16:15:51.721-08:002020-12-02T16:15:51.721-08:00You're a sick man, Ryan! And from what little I've seen, I don't hate them. $15 for a relic? That must've been some relic!

It is a cool card, I think I paid a quarter for it too, but of course that was before everyone was going apesh*t over all things Prizm, I probably couldn't find it for that price now. And as nice as that one is, I did get what I think will be an even better one during this sale, a 2013 Topps Chrome red refractor. This whole being the only company that can't ship items in a timely manner thing, is really hurting them, and if they don't fix it soon, we might not have to worry about next year's sale, as their might not be enough sellers left on the site to justify a big sale.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043468725408104535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730371508291366937.post-56999760776744018632020-12-02T15:58:03.894-08:002020-12-02T15:58:03.894-08:00What! I figure since I'm waiting forever for my cards there's no reason to request shipment yet. So I spent a decent amount a their sale. I love the inclusion of retired stars. Urlacher is a clown, but he's far from the only one, and being a Packers fan I never liked him anyway. But that doesn't change my collecting habits. Hell, I spent $15 bucks on one of his relic cards and about that much on his Finest RC.

Alex Smith is amazing, and that Prizm card is very cool. TCDB isn't scary at all.
